THE BURKE ARTS COUNCIL
is pleased to announce
the return of the
Annual Woodworkers Exhibition
March 22 – April 27
Generously Sponsored by

After a brief pause for construction and the pandemic, one of the most popular exhibitions of the year is back!

The Annual Woodworkers Exhibition, featuring the work of local wood turners, whittlers, and wood crafters will be on display at the new Burke Arts Council for five weeks, starting March 22.

The show provides an opportunity for woodworkers to display and discuss their craft and for the community to view the best in high quality woodworking design and construction.  The pieces on display are works of art, in addition to being functional furniture.

The companion exhibit is a partnership with the students of Western Piedmont Community College Crafts Wood Program, under the direction of John Ferguson.  WPCC’s Professional Craft Program provides individuals with traditional values of fine craftsmanship, creative design, and an entrepreneurial spirit for a small woodworking enterprise.  www.wpcc.edu for information about their program.
