March Art Club: Possibilities in Paper

  • Burke Arts Council 506 South Sterling Street Morganton, NC, 28655 United States (map)

Wednesdays, March 12 and March 19.  3:30–5PM

In the March After School Art Club, we will explore possibilities in paper!

March 12, children will learn the ancient art of Origami.  Origami is the art of paper folding which originated in Japan as early as the late 17th century.  Paper is folded to create beautiful intricate designs.

March 19, we’ll do some experimenting with the Japanese bookbinding technique to create some simple and elegant works of art inspired from the other side of the world!

You’ll be signing up for both classes, March 12 and 19.
