Our annual fundraising event, the October Oyster Outing was just one of many cancelled events in western North Carolina due to Hurricane Helene. It was disappointing, but thanks to our generous sponsors and volunteers, we will hold a “scaled down” event in our own backyard - the Burke Arts Council, 506 S. Sterling Street!
Because this year’s event will be on our property, which has limited space, it will be a ticketed event. The number of tickets sold will be limited. You must purchase a ticket in advance to attend the outing. Children under 10 do not have to purchase a ticket.
The ticket will get you into the event. Food and drink are available for purchase. The cost of an admission ticket is $10 and that amount will be credited to your food purchase.
Parking: Summit Church or behind Morganton Station (Sidetracked Brewery). Free trolley shuttle from these locations to the arts council all day.
Craft Beer (Sidetracked Brewery) and wine available for purchase.
Music will be provided by the S & P Project, a seasoned duet performing seven decades of Classic Rock, Old School Country, and a touch of Progressive Rock
