a’ la carte cooking classes with Lara Hicks – Sauces

Make your own incredible sauces from scratch:
We all use sauces….. but most of us buy them from the store.
You’ll be amazed how easy it is to make your own sauces right at home! Together we will make mayonnaise, and then ranch dressing from that mayonnaise! We will also learn how to make bbq sauce and hot sauce from scratch, as well as a sweet Thai chili sauce. You’ll take home your yummy creations and enjoy a delicious sandwich to test and enjoy your scratch made sauces!

These fun night-out experiences will be held at the Burke Arts Council at 506 S. Sterling Street.
Each class is about 2 hours and will conclude with a generous sampling of the dishes and a glass of wine.
Food is generously provided by Food Matters Market and the wine by The Olive of Morganton.
Cost per class: For BAC Members: $60. Non Members: $65
