Lonny McSherley has been painting since 1982. He studied briefly under Phyllis Whitworth, a well known Indiana artist, and then he developed his own style over time. Lonny travels extensively in the United States and Canada and often paints a scene from a place he visits. Lonny was born in Indiana and has lived and worked in Evansville and Indianapolis, Indiana; Kankakee, Illinois; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Sycamore and Mansfield, Ohio; and Conover, North Carolina, among other places.
