Third Thursday Art Crawl

Thursday, September 21 – 5 – 8PM

The Third Thursday Art Crawls occur annually in the Spring and Fall. The event offers an immersive art experience for participating crawlers at each venue as well as during the “crawl” from one venue to the next.
During the Fall 2023 Autumn Equinox Art Crawl, visitors to downtown will have the opportunity to visit six(6) venues:
  • Burke Arts Council –  will feature the work of Olivia Gamboa of Hendersonville. She paints in oils and acrylics. Guitar Duo featuring Joseph Hasty and Dick Hull will be on the porch. Refreshments will be served.
  • West Union Art Studios  will feature collaborative ceramic pieces by member artists, street demos and a sidewalk popup
  • Art in the Hall at City Hall – Upon your crawl, you mustn’t miss the work of Beth Oczkowski. Beth is an accomplished quiling artist in Hickory.
  • O Suzannah Yarn on Union – Crystal Key Creations will be “popping up’ at OSuzannah’s for the Art Crawl to share her latest wire wrapped gemstone Jewelry!
  • Craft’d – Stop in for a specialty cocktail OR find a beverage from the vast selection of wines throughout the store. During the Autumn Equinox Art Crawl, Craft’d will feature three (3) artists: Wild Blue Yonder Art Studio, Kathy Kmonicek Photography, and Mother Hen Primitives.
  • Hellbound Heat Tattoo and The Reptile Cantina – You’re in for a real treat at this stop! Maybe you’ll see a live mural painting or maybe you’ll see abstract art donned upon neon lit walls. You’ll most definitely experience a sneak peak inside a soon to open restaurant as well as refreshments.
