Mosaic Stepping Stones

In this class we will be learning a little about the world of mosaics, by designing and making a stepping stone.  Our finished stone will be approximately 12 inches square. I will have patterns available for a butterfly, spiral design, circle design, flower or wave design. There will be a variety of materials to use.  If you have things you would like to bring with you to use in your piece or share, it would be appreciated.  Variety in color and texture always adds interest to mosaics.  Suggestions would be flat rocks, shells, tiles or glass of any kind, china plates, decorative glass or stone used in flower arranging, keys, jewelry, beads etc. The garden stones will be constructed to withstand the change of seasons and years.  Come and enjoy the day with us!
