Suzanne McMahon- Biography
I made my first quilt out of scrap squares for my parents about 25 years ago. They bundled up, kept warm, and wore it to shreds. Mom still has the quilt and loves it. With 8 kids in my family, it seemed there was always an occasion that called for a nice gift, so I kept sewing. I sewed bears, pajamas, dresses, bags, Christmas ornaments, and quilts. It was a great outlet for my creative side. My other creative endeavors include teaching, snowboarding, and playing music with my flute choir.
Over time, I kept sewing quilts as a hobby and began selling them in shops in North Carolina. Every room in my house is decorated with quilts I’ve made based on inspirations from different travels I’ve taken. To keep up with my sewing addiction, I’ve had to buy fabrics for my stash. Hence, my online etsy shop!
I hope it will be a great success and lead other people to their creative side too!
